Comments from the screening:
This documentary is excellent!! I think it should be shown often. I was delighted to see "ages 412 grades" written down in the corner of the film, hoping it is being shown in our schools and as part of a whole education! Hats off to Mira Niagolova and the amazing work she and others did in putting this film together. Life IS "the stories" and we all have one. Mira has shared the lives of these 4 families who have resettled with honesty, dignity, and a sensitivity to the lives of these people. I wish everyone could view this as a tool to learn more about our neighbors. I cannot imagine the loneliness of those who resettle (especially the elders of the family) nor do I favor complete assimilation. Our beauty is in our uniqueness. I'm not good at communicating all that I feel in my heart...so let suffice to simply say, THANK YOU, Mira!
