Upcoming Screenings, Classes and Events


Welcome to Vermont will be shown  on Friday, May 2,
at Vermont Technical College, Randolph Center.
The screening will be hosted by  the Vermont Folklife Center 
and Young Tradition Vermont as part of a daylong workshop
to introduce their New Neighbors Project.

Upcoming Screenings, Classes and Events






From 6-7 PM: The First Annual Global Studies Colloquium.
Learn more about the Global Studies Minor, the work of graduating seniors with a Global Studies Minor, ask questions, eat and get to know one another!

From 7-8:30 PM: "Welcome to Vermont," a documentary by filmmaker and Champlain College faculty member Mira Niagolova about the daily lives of four families from Bosnia, Somalia, Iraq, and Rwanda who have recently resettled in Vermont. Followed by an informal discussion and Q&A.

Please join us for a film screening, discussion and delicious dinner cooked by local chef Farah Akhondi.

The event is at Morgan Room, Aiken Hall. Champlain College
